What Does Transferable Warranty Mean?Updated 6 months ago

At Pearson, we recognise that a bike’s journey often involves more than just one owner. It's essential to us that our bikes are utilised to their fullest potential throughout their lifetime. That’s why we proudly offer a five-year transferable warranty. This transferable warranty is only available for bikes purchased directly with Pearson Cycles after 01/01/24. Bikes purchased before this date are covered under our previous five year non-transferable warranty.

Our transferable warranty ensures that whether you’re selling or gifting your Pearson bike, the new owner can easily register the bike with us and continue to enjoy the same comprehensive warranty coverage. This unique feature benefits both the original and new owners in several ways:

For the Original Owner:

  • Increased Resale Value: Knowing that the warranty can be transferred provides peace of mind to potential buyers, making your bike more attractive and potentially increasing its resale value.
  • Sustainability: By facilitating the continued use of your bike, you contribute to environmental sustainability, promoting a culture of reuse and reducing waste.

For the New Owner:

  • Continued Protection: The new owner benefits from the remaining warranty period, ensuring they are covered for any manufacturing defects or issues that may arise.
  • Confidence in Purchase: The transferable warranty offers assurance and confidence in the quality and durability of their new bike, enhancing their overall ownership experience.

To transfer the warranty, the new owner simply needs to register the bike with us, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. At Pearson, we are committed to supporting our community of riders and fostering a sustainable cycling culture.

Ride on, knowing that Pearson has got you covered.
